Well now, after reading some of the comments here, I am starting to wonder if I should have submitted my article to ezines, instead of posting it on my site. I submitted it mainly for the high PR backlink, and also to get the message out -- I was thinking that the readership would be better that way, and I'm not selling anything, so I can't make anything off of advertising right now.
I was under the innocent impression that many other sites in my niche would republish my article if they liked it, and then that would bring more traffic to my just-starting blog.
