Hello,

My name is Jonny and I am a freelance journalist/press officer from Northern Ireland.

I have only just signed up to the board but I would like to put myself forward as your writer.

Let me tell you a little about myself.

I have a degree in Journalism & Publishing & Film Studies and an NVQ4 in Newspaper Journalism. In the past I have written for the biggest selling dance music magazine in Ireland and a host of weekly newspapers right across the island.

Currently I write the ‘webnews’ for the website of Ireland’s leading electronic music brand and as a result of my press officer work my articles have been published in newspapers across Ireland and websites across Ireland, the UK and Europe.

Although electronic music and entertainment is my passion, I can write hard news copy, features, reviews, council reports and even court reports!

I am an excellent content writer..This of course depends on the type of content you are looking for. I am very wordy and can say alot about a subject that requires very few words.

I am majoring in Psychology and so am use to writing lengthy content.

When I post for others..I charge 10 cents a post and require weekly pay.

If it's an article it would be something we can come to an agreement on.

That's a big problem: finding reliable content writers. Being freelancers they think they can do whatever they want because they are working remotely. You contract them for several articles, they write one and then dissapear...

You could get writers from different reliable websites. However, you must be extra careful on hiring one. Because you have to do everything by remote: interview, hire and payment--you really have to trust your gut instinct. It may help to look for the applicant's soft skills as well as the hard ones.

Soft skills pertain to the character. A good worker works well with or without a team and under minimal supervision. He is also polite and courteous even on written communication.

For hard skills... it looks something like this: "I write perfect Inglesh."
