I am just wondering how many hours does it take for professional copywriter to write an interesting and well-structured SEO-oriented article about 500 words?

Anywhere from 1/2 hour to several days depending how much research they would need.

How well known a writer is shouldn't have anything to do with how long it takes that same person to write something. Think, does it take longer for Eddie or Charlie Murphy to write an email? If either one of them takes longer, it's probably that they don't type as fast, and not because one was in movies and the other on the Dave Chappelle show.

Chris Hirst is right - it takes as long as it takes.

Yeah, exactly how does the popularity of someone have any effect on how long it takes them to write. If anything the more popular the less time they have to write for you and the more they'll charge you for that time.

It depends on the topic and available of information. If the writer is researchful then he/she can finish one topic in less than an hour.
