Hello everyone,

I'm new here and had the same question as well. I am excellent with words, but how does one go about selling content one has created? Even more importantly, how does one get freelance jobs in content creation? As a native speaker of English, I have a valuable skill, but how do I capitalize on that skill? As far as specifics, I can do SEO work, general content, eBooks and articles requiring research, et cetera. I am versatile enough to work on almost any subject. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

With Oronjo.com, you can sell content on your own site. It's a free service. You can sell ebooks, documents in all formats and even weblog articles (which is a unique service).

I recommend Constant-Content. I tarted with it about 2 weeks ago and sold my first article today. I'm so excited. The only thing is that they take 35% of what you make so you want to price your articles accordingly.

You can submit your own articles and they also have a calls for content bulletin board.

associatedcontent.com is also a good place to be. they have constantly updated calls for content but only people from US are eligible.

I would whole-heartedly recommend dailyarticle.com -- this was even spotted on www.springwise.com as one of the best business ideas out there in its category. You write, submit your article and it gets sold for " full rights to the buyer" -- that means the writer would have to relinquish all rights.

However, as opposed to constant-content which allows for various levels of purchases for the same article and takes a large cut on the price of the article, dailyarticle just takes about 20% -- the least ever.

I started a website (LinuxEdit.com) about documenting Linux. The whole point of creating the site was to pay for quality content. The site just is just starting out and we are looking for a few good writers. At first the payout is small, but we hope to increase it as time moves forward.

So if you write about Linux, stop on my, sign up and submit an article.

Are these articles and content written by yourself?

We've setup a website that lets you publish content on our network and include your own adsense tracking code so you get all of the revenue from the article. You can also create picklists of items from our shop and benefit from the adsense clicks on those pages as well so it's pretty cool really for just a few minutes work.
