My main goal here is product reviews. I know that's the hardest to find writers for. Anyone have any advice on that?

I'm fairly fed up with hiring folks off of DP. I swear it's like no one on that site speaks fluent English anymore.

Then again I don't need it to be perfect, just legible. It's meant to have more of a user generated content feel than professional perfect English and grammar article.

I'm in the content building phase on PCHangOut and I'm about to buy another GARS license (<3 GARS ) and write a few product reviews for my latest toys around the house. But I need it to be more than just my own articles. I want about 5 or 6 quality product reviews of pretty much any tech gadget, with pictures.

Where would you look?

Sorry you've had troubles at DP.. I had one writer I met over there that was able to produce some good articles, but she seems to be hard to get in touch with anymore.

If you're paying you should be able to find someone. Check product reviews elsewhere, usually they have credit to who wrote it and you can contact them.

Other ideas, contact repair services and see if one of the workers would like to make a few extra bucks doing reviews. Or perhaps the company itself would like to do the reviews as long as they had mention of their store/services.

Post in tech forums, ezines, and print magazines.

Hope this helps.

You could also try Craigslist. You might be surprised at what you find.

Good content writers are available everywhere - provided you are willing to pay for them.

Guru.com, elance and rentacoder.com have all lost their sheen but are still the first places where you still have good people writing for you.

DP - is a mixed lot. Some are good, some aren't.

Someone suggested craigslist.org -- it is a good place to look into.

Out of curiosity, what's your incentive for the product review posts? Do they get to keep the product or is it just for payment?

There are plenty of great writers out there, the problem lies where people want quality articles for $4.
If you're willing to pay a little more, you'll find the quality increases

Well, there are a lot of sites where people buy tutorials and reviews too. Just look around you. Don't look for luck, it never comes to those looking for it. Just make your own thing. Design your destiny,do something. All the best

There are lot of good writers available if you afford to pay them. Try www.payperpost.com, eLance is best freelancer place in the net, I could write you product reviews as I did for www.mytestbox.com

Vapour lock seems to have some valid point. Digital Point has got very saturated now and the writers are being offered a pittance. I used to be freelancing there but now I have moved on.

If you are willing to pay a good price, you will get fantastic writers. Personally, I think I would be able to do the reviews for you .. For a price ofcourse :P

you can try GAF for your content. although it may be hard to get good writers with a firm grip on their english skills, its worth a try. nobody really wants to work cheap these days, even most writers want a good price on gigs.

Do you have some experience with web software? Can you do reviews of them? And I'm not paying $4 a review but more...

Let me know...

Thats a great opportunity. Anyway, a good content writer is better than any software. As proof to that, i can't even read it well and the thought if fabricated ones really don't add up to its hype.

I know you are not supposed to post in more than one city, but Craigslist is an excellent source for finding content writers. You should consider doing your own content though, it's great practice, and once you get the hang of it, you can pump out articles quickly.

I have recently come across an excellent writer over at DP and ma very pleased with the work and turn-a-round time for delivery.

In times gone by I have had a few try to scam me at DP too and have been lucky to have claimed the money back through PayPal.

I got one writer from there too...I had to exchange several email to make him understand what I wanted (and I had my requirements already posted on my website). Finally, he produced like 80% of what I wanted but I still paid him the full amount...

Another place to look for writers is http://performancing.com/forum

Or www.odesk.com (there are more native english speakers than in other freelance sites).

Or maybe googling after "freelance writers"...
