Apart from forums. Check listings in http://craigslist.com also. Select the location and you will get many work from home jobs.

I would suggest in this forum and also other webmaster forums. Quite often there is always a help wanted / writers section.

Also, remember to always be paid in advance. I've seen too many writers ripped off lately.

Use GoFreeLance or GetAfreelancer.com and look for people who want writers, I would suggest using escrow to paid. Usually there are plenty of work for writers.
