Website near the end should I do articles?

I've come to the decision to close up one of my sites. I created my "baby" by hand coded html starting back in 1998. It's an e-commerce site that became my life for almost 10 years. I made a nice income off of it, was listed as #1 on Goog for 4 years for my most important keyword and up until the jagger update a couple years ago, did pretty well.

Now, for many reasons, I am unable to sustain it. My PR6 of 3 years ago has fallen to PR3 and my income has also suffered substantially. As I have other interests that take up time, I'm unable to bring the site back where I know it could be.

But I am reluctant to sell it so I was wondering if anyone knows of any type of software or script that will automatically update articles on the site (health, fitness related). I would hope to incorporate adsense and other aff money streams into it. I saw something called "article manager" over at hotscripts dot com but was hoping for input from anyone.

Do you mind sharing what the website is about and what products you are selling there?

I don't know what you mean by "automatically update"? I don't think you'll find a script that can write copy, what is it you want the script to do? ArticleManager, as far as I know, is just a CMS.

If you want to hold onto the site you might consider bringing someone on board, giving them a percentage in exchange for specific responsibilities. For example, they agree to write a few article each month, update the site accordingly, etc. You provide overall guidance or "strategic" guidance.

Subscribe content as RSS feed and put it to your site. There should be several open source RSS viewers available or move it to some blog platform.
