Website idea

Hello

I'm currently thinking of making a new site , but i'm really confused what would it be of
1- Sports
2- Information on earning money online

The purpose is to lunch a site that attracts members , actually it won't be a forum , so to attract visitors , I really like the 2nd choise as it is more intersting , can you guys advise me ?

Seriously, what do you like to do?
I give you an example, I like health, so I sell health products.

But..

I do not sell products 1st.

I sell

information books on health 1st..

Because..

money earned from these books pays for my advertising cost...

and when i have build a list with zero expenditure (because
of the money earned from the books)

I sell them my health products.

Nothing is stopping you to do it.

You can make a website about anything that interests you and, if everything on it legal, you will be successful. Even if you don't make money out of it, you will be successful because you will have done it.

And it will give you more experience on marketing a site, wich is the most valuable thing to a webmaster.

Then it sounds like you know which niche you should work with.

Out of curiosity though, if your main interest is in writing articles on the subject, why are you looking to start a member-based site?

- the best startegy is to start get links to your web site.
- comments blogs of sport or football journalists.
- search for a fun group of real madrid.
- get link from real madrid web site
- comments blog of real madrid players such as my blog.
- comment blog of FC barca players.
- email to newspapers interested to real madrid (specailly spanish).
- add spanish language

What ever content you decide on for your site is up to you. The key is to attract traffic to your site. you can have a million dollar looking site and if you do not create traffic nobody will look at it. Fredto is right you will be successful because you have done it. If anybody would have told me six months ago that I would build my own article directory and launch it I would have thought they were crazy. Just remember that you are in control of weather your site is a success or failure. Good luck and have fun with it. Remember in forums like this one you eill always find answers to your questions.

I would really stick to what you love. All success comes out of a passion for what you do. No matter what it is that you love to do, if you pursue it, you will have success.

It seems like you are interested in earning money online so I think that's the better choice. I also think you need a better plan. Who is your audience, will you hire content writers, are you only in it for the money?

Just a word of advice, don't be one of those people who starts a "how to make money on the internet" website if you've never made any money on the internet. It will show, and you'll be doing a lot of people a disservice.

Start a website about something you're interested in or know a lot about.

I'd also recommend doing a search on the most popular keywords. That may give you some ideas too.

Starting a website on earning money online would be preferable. But make sure it is your field of interest.

As said in the above posts, make sure it is your interest but also make sure you know a thing or two about it. Hopefully somewhat unique and helpful to the rest of the world out there checking it out. good luck
