Life in a Vacuum Sucks!

Hi,
I was wondering if Forum Population Services are becoming too crowded. I am interested in helping my sister start one - I'd handle all the payments etc, while she would do the posting. I've seen a lot of successful Forum Population Services but they all seem to close for the same "not enough time" issues. My sister would much rather work online than at her current job (she gets $1200 AUD a month) and I reckon I can help her earn more than she does.

Thanks

Forum Population services aresometimes sold for toolittle. Posting of forum does take time, and time is money, so you must charge accordingly.

Along with forum posting if your sister could do some basic copywriting, then it would largely increase her scope of earning through the internet.

I have recently started one service and I have had the luck to both get some customers and 30+ writers really quick. But what I have noticed is that the competition is really big and hard. I charge the customer $0.20 per post, and then you can imagine that the posters/writers do not get very much paid, and that is sad.

It seems like the industri standard now is somewhere between $0.10 and $0.20 per post, and that is quite low, and I think to be able to charge more you really need to offer something more than just posting, to really make it worth for the customer and writers, and for you to stand out from the crowd.

If you can offer quality of posts and more than 30 works/post you can charge more than $0.30, most of the sites are now charging bet $0.20 and $0.45

I have some freaking awesome domains for a paid posting site...

forumgrow.com (I see the logo being a picture of a plant with a can/bag of "forumgrow", like miracle grow, next to it).

forumfruit.com - Harvest the power of our educated professional writers.

Now just to make time to develop them. PM me if you want to inquire about the domains.

I guess its like any particular field. Competition will always drive the price down, everything else being equal.

So how do you overcome that?

Make your posting service the best there is. Concentrate on value adding for the customer, form partnerships with other "submission services".

Eg. Buy the Forum Posting 100 package from us, and receive a 20% discount on the Big Daddy Kane Directory Submission Package at dirsubs.com

Thats the best way to survive...form alliances.

Then of course promote your site heavily, through any legitimate means possible. Promotion and getting your name out there again and again is half the battle.
