With the ebay market being soo cheap, and the fact you can get most information for free online these days, is there still a market for selling ebooks?
I have a niche content site which is ranking 6th in google (very highly searched for) and I'm thinking about monetizing it more by selling an ebook.
there are tons and tons of ebooks being sold each day
but you prety much have to sell lower than it is worth, advertise it well, have a good bonuse (goes with the product and is good info) and it always helps to have a 30 day money back garentee
Aaron Wall (SEOBook) and Joel Comm seem to do quite well selling their e-books. I think the key for them is that they have set themselves up to be considered top "gurus" in their fields, and as such people are willing to pay for the information they are selling in their e-books. Aaron's book is $79, which is steep for a book - but I love it and don't regret buying it. Offer information people believe they will not be able to acquire (at least quickly or easily) from any other source, and be a top authority on that information - then I think people will buy your e-book.
well it would be much better to become one yourself
but the problem is people want to buy from people who tryed it and were sucsessful but you cant be sucsessful unless people buy it from you
