To make article writing effective, I first do keyword research to get an idea what material is being sought after. Then, when I write the article, I create a link to a related area on my site, which not is not only great for getting backlinks, it funnels traffic to that page and helps to increase it's visibility.

If I don't have deep knowledge in the area that I will cover in my writing, I would prefer not to write about it in the first place. Although research might help, I feel that it will still be pointless after all.

My personal opinion on this is only two type of people should write articles online.
One who are expert in there respective domain and the other one should be those who have discovered something unique and would like to share with others.

The term Unique suites for anything, it can be an idea, method, technique, strategy anything....

The only intention of writing an article that should be kept in mind is I have to contribute something unique to the community.

Obviously you will need to research on the topic you intend to write or else, you won't be able to come up with a good article. There are a lot of resource in the internet, just look it up and read.

I had trouble coming up with content when I first started my site but I decided to change to a different niche all together and write about what I know

I feel that way I want get bored and I can always have interesting and fun things to talk about

I feel that if its something you like to talk about or write about you will have tons of ideas in your head

If you just doing a niche and you dont know nothing about it then it will obviously be much harder to stay focus and come up with ideas

If you are writing in a subject you know a lot about it is very easy to write an article as you have full understanding of it, If you need to write an article for a topic or niche you are unfamiliar with it is important to read and re-read literature on it to gaina full understanding.

Once you know more about the product or niche you will find it a lot easier to write. Though there are many writers and freelance writers online you can contact to get good written content which in turn create leads to your website.

First be clear in your mind about the thing you are writing about. For example, if you are writing an article about Christmas, jog down the points regarding the part of the big festival you want to write about. If you are choosing "thanks giving ceremony", research on that or write on what you know about the ceremony and such like....understood?

For me it is easy, my subject is video games so I just subscribe to the developers on their websites and youtube channels.

Easiest way is to google the keywords you want, have a look through the top 10 and then think if you can do the subject better than them, if you think you can then start researching real good, if you think you can't find a new subject.

Before writing any article first understand the subject then think over for sufficient, clear the idea what you want to actually write and then start the writing. Also you can take a help of Google also.

I get ideas to write articles by sometimes going to the forums and when people have questions they need answers too I come up with an article that helps answer their questions. Even if you don't have all the answers you can find out. That's the good thing about the internet.

Ideas for articles are easy to come by, you've just got to be on the ball with news. It's a lot easier to write unique articles if there are less articles out there.

When I write on my personal blog, I use whatever it is that inspires me on that day as a topic. If I have a more business related goal, I research on the topic I'm writing about and create a mind map to list all areas of the topic that I want to include in my article then start from there.

Writing is not a science it is an art. If you approach it with that in mind it will be a lot easier to figure out. Of course, it also depends what you are hoping to write about, is it creative or informative, fictional or non-fiction. I used to be a News Reporter and of course there I did not have to search for the story, I was assigned to it. YET, whenever I found myself with a mental block on how to begin to write the story I went back to the writing basics, an OUTLINE. This is what you should do. Start jotting down ideas and develop those ideas. Before you know it you have an article. This is what I STILL do when a client hires me and I am at a loss for words. So do not feel bad, it happens to all of us.

If you hadn't done any content writing before here is a simple solution...

Once you've decided which topic to go into:

1.Research your keywords

2.Build your topic title ( based on your keywords )

3.Write down the structure of your article ( in point forms, of course)

4.Break it down into paragraphs :

1. Intro.
2. Current Trends
3. Benefits
4. Advantages & Disadvantages
5. Closing Summary ( your final opinion )

5.Research, research and more research ( there is no easy way around it )

This is the simplest form of structure one could actually apply in their content writing projects. Hope that helps.

Write about things that you know best. Treat it like you are sharing your knowledge with others, and you will not find it a chore to write interesting articles.

Agreed. By the end of the day it boils down to your passion for the subject. And only then your writings will shine above the rest.
