PC game controller

What's the best PC game controller?
I'm going to be using for sports games, specifically Winning Eleven: Pro Evolution Soccer 2007.

I dont know about a PC controller, but the best design i have ever used is the Nintedo Gamecube i love it just for the controller. i hate the others they seem weird to me.

I like the Xbox controllers. I hacked together an old Xbox controller and attached a USB connection to it. Use it all the while. Might have a few problems looking for drivers though.

I'm using a wired Xbox360 controller for pc.
Works well (unless the old crappy msn sidewinder with sensor...) and is supported on linux too !

Logitech Dual Shock is a replica of a PSX Controller. That may interest you.

I am using Topway Dual shock PC Joypad and it gives the best gameplay and it is compatible with many games including NFS carbon etc. By compatible, I mean to say that its shock feature works with many Games. Other than that, this game pad will work with every game and its really comfortable to use it too.
