CDs (compact discs) have now reached their 25th birthday.

I think the best use for CDs is they make PERFECT frizbies! seriously u can have hours of fun with a stack of AOL free CDs and just flinging them out the door! XD

CDs are so rubbish its unbeliveable . i have no music on cds the cds i have are in a case somewhere not touched becasue its all on my PC.

Already 25 years for the CD ? Time goes by soooo fast, i through the CD was created about 15 years ago !

even i know it wasnt! and im 15! i was thinking more 16 years! XD no kiddin

do people ever look at something and just think wow. if i went back intime like 50 years and show them this they would flip! XD

or even 15 years

go back and say you know that thing the internet, which mainly geeks and businessmen play on virtually everyone will have access. and many will use it and you could watch films online! and not wait 24years!

AOL CDs for me are coasters... same with mis-burns or over-used RW's. Amazing how many there are around the house with said duty.

HAHA! XD my mum does that, im just too lazy to use coasters...

Also and this will sound weird.. but becauses our dvd/video/dvd-recorder/cable box stack gets hot and needs seperators, made little tower of duff discs stuck together.

i want to make a light stick out of some discs coz that would look cool. :P

Ha, reminds me of when we took a bunch of expired AOL CD's from the Canadian tire (New 'version' was out). There were roughly 300 of them that we had. And we had a large hall, a stereo system, 300 CD's as mirrors and 15 strobe lights. Amazing party it was.
