For keyboard, a standard one is ust perfect.
But, in the last month, I've seen more and more keyboard who have the set of 6 keys, above the arrows key arranged diffently.
I'm used to a layout of 2 rows of 3 cols
Code:
insert home pg up
----------------------------------------
delete end pg down
I use those keys all the time when I code, except for insert.
But, last time I checked the keyboard, most of the logitech/ms I saw had a 5 key layout.
One column with home/delete (delete having 2 time the size of the other keys) and the other with end / pg up / pg down.
I found this layout very uneasy to adapt. At the point hat I've buyed another cheap labtec keyboard, rather than using this logitech one.
And for the mouse, if you look for precision, I'm using a logitec MX518, which allows me to change the precision of the optic sensor on the fly, with 2 small buttons around the wheel.

Pretty useful when you need to be very precise.
