In your opinion, whats the best webmail email client? E.g. Horde, SquirrelMail.

Personally, I like Roundcube - its interface is great

I would also recommend Roundcube, Much more functionality and better designed.

Yeah Thunderbird is good and much safer than Outlook Express. Mozilla recently announced they are going to focus on Firefox development though and let an independent organization continue working with Thunderbird. A bit of a shame really although I won't complain about Mozilla - Firefox is an amazing browser

squirrelmail seems to be the most reliable webmail client i've ever come across (or at least the most popular). so long as you get imap working though!
my control panel came with 2 webmail apps though. the squirrel, and "uebimiau" (i think that's how it's spelt). it's weird. reads mbox files i think, doesn't rely on imap. though i've never had a crack at installing it from scratch.
my most favoured webmail app though has to be @open. gorgeous interface!

I find squirrelmail to be very ugly. Roundcube rules!

Agreed. Squirrelmail isn't the prettiest application in the world. But it also appears to be one of the more reliable and/or widely used ones too. Thing is, no matter how much you apply themes and skins to Squirrelmail, it *never* looks pretty! I think it's the frameset...

Outlook express is good because it is simple and is already on many windows machines.

I hope that helps you
and in return you could help me by giving me some talkupation please

I have Gmail so I just use their web-based software. Now, for my personal sites I use Thunderbird (Windows) or Apple Mail (Mac OS) because I don't like the web-based solutions that my host provides (Squirrel Mail and Horde).

Thunderbird for me, though it can be a bit retarded when your internet connection isn't always connected (IE going wireless on the bus causes millisecond long disconnection/re-connection's when among the taller structures. This can sometimes cause it to say that there is no connection entirely.

Aside from that I've had no problems.
