I've been using AVG / Symantec CC / Nod32 all the time.

Everything works so great with Symantec CC

I've used Norton, McAfee and AVG. I have to say that I really like the new version of McAfee.

I am a Kaspersky fan.

Just a tip:
I just wanted to remind everyone not to have more than one Antivirus software running at a time. They have a tendency to interfere with each other.

PC-cillin. I'd never heard of it but decided to give it a shot after seeing it on Software Outlet and then reading some reviews. No complaints.

Did use Nortons, but have now switched to Avast free version. Am seiouisly considering buying the full version, but would welcome feedback as to what is the best, bearing in mind that I get by with my PC and am far from a real geeky expert.!
Interested also in a spyware program, although I am now using the full version of SuperAntiSpyware, which seems to do the job OK.

I'm beginning to think that's the right idea, mannish. These anti-virus programs are driving me batty. Right now I'm using AVG Internet Security -- Release candidate and while it seems to work well and all, I'm fed up with anti-virus programs interferring with my e-mail software. Every single e-mail I get goes to junk, no matter how many times I "tell" the software a paritcular sender is NOT for the junk folder. So I go in and disable the e-mail protection and it renders the whole darn program useless.

I'm also fed up with having to pay companies for updates all the time just to get and keep their paid versions.
