No wonder you don't answer your emails. Having to open an additional client on top of your browser is added windows = more RAM = more clutter!

Or maybe my email was boring. I will await your answer.

Have I not returned an email you sent? I thought I've replied to all of them. My bad if I missed one.

I actually like having to open the client to get my email. It keeps me from checking it all day long.

The biggest problem I find now is I get so much spam that doesn't get filtered that I think I delete a few real emails because they don't stand out. A couple of weeks ago someone decided to use one of my email addresses as the return on the spam they were sending out. That was fun. I was getting about 100 return to sender emails every hour.

I use Google Apps for my domain and wouldn't use anything else.

I like Thunderbird but with my company, I am forced to use Outlook.

When I must work on windows, I simply miss Evolution [ http://www.gnome.org/projects/evolution/ ]

It's simple but very complete PIM, more like outlook than outlook express.
But I like being able to have multiples calendars, LDAP adress book (I never could access it from outlook, as the authentication scheme seems unsupported by it), and a good spam filter.

Better yet, it include a google calendar backend, which allows me to modify, add or remove events directly from Evolution.
No need to use a 3rd party plugin to synchronize my different calendars. I can do it via the web access or Evolution.

Well, my school likes us using Outlook, so with the laptop I use in school, I am somewhat "forced" to use Outlook. However, at home, I am a Thunderbird user. Awesome program. Outlook is good, but free is better than paid--especially when the free performs better sometimes.. :P

Yeah, you did! Pfft. Sent April 11th at 3:19am. It was a one-liner though. Maybe it was filtered as spam?

I used to use outlook most of the time but in recent times I have moved to just using gmails built in interface as it runs everything that I need it to. If I was to move back to a desktop client I would still use outlook.

I use thunderbird.. I'm not really completely happy with it, but it does for now. Some things I don't like about it is its kind of hard to backup and restore. I know there is a program you can use to back it up, but restoring is a true pain in the ***.. and there's no mobility functions. I know at some point my HD might crash and I'll lose everything and have to start from scratch again.

Other programs allow you to spread it over multiple devices.

I use Outlook at work and at home. I like that I can sync calanders between the BBerry, home and work.

I use gmail web for family travel because I can move around w/ it more easily.

Thunderbird is a very professional client from a well known and well trusted brand name, but for more personal e-mails I reccomend Incredimail, as it has many free features which you probably wouldn't be able to get for free in many other clients.
