You can download a program like WAMP that installs everything for you. But this won't give you any control over hosting other peoples content (at least, not without some work).

If you want to set up a hosting company, you cannot use your own computer. I mean that quite literally; not "should not", but "cannot". For one it might be against your ISP's terms of service, but other then that, any website you host will only be usable to an extremely small amount of people at a time unless you spend some money on a great connection.

If you want to start your own company, you need to rent a server from someone. A much cheaper and easier method is to just purchase a reseller account from an existing company.

i think the best way is probally to work your way up.
get a reseller, once you have good few client, and it is worth it, rent a server, and then maybe if you ahve the money, buy your own server.

O and if you need webspace your self i have great deals! i my slef have just go t reseller and am practically giving it away to build up my client base.
