Like DaveTodd - a combo of SmartFTP and CuteFTP.

I like to use FTPSurfer, it's free and simple. But SmartFTP and CuteFTP would be my next two picks.

I wonder why no one suggested FireFTP. It comes as an Addon for FireFox, and its free and super cool. Try it out..

I like WebMaestro; I better, I wrote it. I've given it upload lists of as many as about 200 files, and it's done fine with them. But the main reason I wrote this is none of the other FTP clients are really made for web masters, and the upload feature in DW isn't very good. This will profile the local version of your site, and keep track of which files you've changed, so you don't have to go through your directory structure to find them to be able to send them up.

i use TotalCommander and Macromedia Dreamviewer (ftp plugin)

Check out CoreFTP if you want. Its free and works great for me.

I really like WS_FTP, but I don't think it is free anymore... is it? I know my college has it, so I use it there

I use WebMaestro because it's clever and free, but also because someone I've bumped into on the internet a lot who I admire and respect wrote it.

I used FTP for a while but it is not free anymore so I found FileZilla as well and even though it is missing some of the bells and whistles of FTP it does a fine job.

FlashFxp is the greatest i have ever seen

I use FileZilla because it is free and will automatically connect back to server and retry if you encounter FTP errors or disconnects.

It I'm uploaded and editing a website, then I use the built in FTP in Dreamweaver.

Why not do a poll here and check which one is liked by most of us

FileZilla is the ****. It's fast, free, and secure! I highly recommend it. Hasn't failed for me.

I've always been using CuteFTP. Its a great software. If I'm on Ubuntu, I use FireFTP , FireFox's very own FTP extension

Id have to say either Filezilla or SmartFTP. Neither have failed me yet.

Total commander, i think is the best... .
