MSN gives you the option to log your chats, you just need to turn it on in the options. You'll need access to the accounts, but only once. The logs are then saved in My Documents in a folder called History.
As an alternative, Messenger Plus also does a simular thing, and it also encrypts the log files.

Eh, I just don't like that. Invasion of privacy. I check my proccesses every time I startup to see if I have any unwanted programs running. I just hate the idea of someone else getting in my business seing what I'm doing.

But yea, allot of good keyloggers out there will tell you what keys are typed, what buttons are pressed on the screen, what programs are loaded and/or closed, ect... in a format that is easily readible.

I used a keylogger on my mom's computer so I could get her password so I could edit my AOHELL account so that it wansn't sending her NetLogs of what site's I've been to. (years back)

Lol; I don't like the invasion of privacy thing either - and hate seeing random processes I don't know about!

AOHELL? Hehe. Havn't heard that one before.

I have two kids online...one is 15, turning 16 in June and one is 11, turn 12 in August. My son (the 15 year old) has aim installed and I check his logs & buddy list at least once a week from my own computer over the network. I only let him chat with family and a few of his friends that I know. I haven't allowed my daughter to have any chat programs installed.

As far as privacy issues go - my kids have been told by myself & dad that they can have privacy on their computers when they pay their own rent. It's kind of funny - my son doesn't care if I know everything he's up to, but it really irritates my daughter.

Most of the time I do (when it counts) - it's just that he's a mama's boy. I also get copies of all of their incoming & outgoing emails. He comes home from school and hands me copies of the notes from the school day (some of them I haven't been extremely pleased with, but I also understand that he's a teenager too). I never asked for the notes - it was something he did on his own. Mostly - I know where his head is and that's the important part.
