Hey friends.. just came across a very interesting news that Intel is launching the first ever '3d transistor' in the market by the name of 'Ivy Bridge' processor. According to Intel, this latest technology will generate a much better output/performance while the energy used will be much less. The technology will be released in form of 13 quad-core processors, mostly in desktop computers whereas laptops will be targeted this spring season. If the reports are to be believed then this nanometer technology will be offering 20 % more computing power with about 20% less power consumption.

What do you think guys...will this be the next big thing????

Looking forward to an interesting discussions.........

Cheers,

Maneet
