When I turn on my machine the

Windows login background screen.

Its so depressing.
At least Vista had a kind of fresh blue-green color.

Is there any way to change this?

There's no way of changing how that look.

In that case, I'd call it a step backwards from Vista.

Unless you are a Goth and like that kind of thing....

hahaha.

Actually I think I solved my issue very easily.

Solution : right-click on desktop and choose "personalize".
Now I can see the default installed "theme" with the black startup that the system came with (thanks a lot Dell).
If I choose a different theme from the options available, the startup screen uses that new theme.

Admin. Could you please close this thread. I think we have seen enough "expert" advice.
