Any idea why my website prints fine in IE or Chrome, but in Firefox, when I go to print, only the first page comes out, in addition to the footer printing on top of the 2nd page?

For pages with detailed content, this is a problem.

I highly recommend you have a look at using a print stylesheet.

I think I'm going to have to try it. Was hoping to avoid it - since I am rather lazy at the moment.

Haha, yeah I usually feel that way too. But they only need to be basic. Will probably take you two minutes tops.

Running into a pickle with this print style sheet. I obviously have done them before, but with this content management system, adding the print style CSS link is a bit problem since the actual CSS links are hidden in my editor by some other script - hard to explain. When you view source on my site, you see the CSS links, but in my editor, you don't. Adding a line for the print CSS doesn't link to my print style sheet file.

There is an answer to the problem and it lies somewhere within my general CSS page - probably has to do with a overflow setting.

What CMS do you use?

I would actually expect it to be how you're positioning the footer. And/or using floats.

Does anyone know why I can't print from Firefox and yet can do so from Internet Explorer? When I try to print from Firefox, it bring up a box to save the entire page into my documents rather than enabling me to print it. I'm having so many problems with Firefox. Even sorting the bookmarks is very user unfriendly.

Sorry, I forgot about this.

Doesn't BigCommerce have a template manager kinda thing? You should be able to edit your templates in there.

Otherwise (I just had a quick look at the knowledgebase) you can connect via FTP to download/edit your files and upload a print stylesheet.

Please go to the following bug and add a comment documenting this problem:

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=258397

If more people report this problem, there is a better chance they will fix it.
