Hey friend if you are asking for the best Anti virus which is 100% secure so i would suggest you to use Norton but its doesn't appraisal from many users because it makes the system to crawl and affects the speed so in that way its not the best.
Anyway, i am currently using Avast 5.0.45 and i am completely satisfied with it as my pc haven't got infected by any virus till now.

i think avast latest version is good...

you can try different anti-virus. and choose 1 that would really fit your PC. i am using nod32 for now.

I'm using free version of Avira Antivirus it works fine and provides great support to latest threats

I've been using Norton for years and they have really picked up the game. It was bloated over the past 3 versions but the latest 2010 is really good. Decent interface and much faster than the previous versions.

I love Avast. Does everything I need, you need to register but its free, and seems to pickup on most things.

I am using AVG antivirus the free version ....

It is really easy to use & it doesn't slow the PC at all.......

really, ill have to retry it sometime, when I had it I noticed a big difference in performance, especially when using photoshop.

I have been fairly pleased with avast. I had avg a while back, until one day it started using a ton of cpu and memory constantly. So I dumped it for avast, and so far so good.

ESET is good, but last time I prefer Avast.
