My god...

I just realized what I did this weekend.
My file server was full (with 1.3 To) and I had to extend it.

I now have a file server with 4x1To drive and 1x320Go as NAS, and a 500Go disk for the system.
And the worst is, that given my consumption rate, I think that this mere 4.3To will be filled in less than 1 year.

I realized what a beast I have, when I read an ad for an external NAS enclosure where you could have an "gigantic 2Tb space available"
And when I think that an LVD scsi uw320 drive for my server with 18Gb is almost 4 times the price of 1 1To sata drive, make me giggle.

I feel so ashamed.
Or maybe not

But I can tell you, that copying 1.3To of data to an external HDD via usb is sooo slooow.

hey trip, if i were able to read your entire post (can't because the **** banner) I would reply accordingly. Try to tell the wmt admin to remove it, they don't listen.

It's not that we don't listen, but we are investigating...
And given the spam rate those days, we spend a lot of time keeping those forums clean, which could explain the slowness to answer.
