A couple of days ago I had to rebuild a damaged registry using the Repair Console as described in
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=k...07545&x=8&y=20
It worked fine but the Activate Windows dialogue popped up. When I chose Activate Through the Internet (or by phone) it just sat there. I'm 23 days before it expires and dont know what to do. IE explorer also doesn't install or run at all (I use Firefox).

Thank You,

Lolo.

Your Windows is original? You should contact microsoft vendor if you have problems with activation.

Got it. The dialogue window somehow depends on IE being installed, lol. A windows update solved the problem. When accessed the register through the internet option, the window just closed informing me my copy was registered no pins or serial numbers. Thank You.
