not for long moving ot 7 in about a month me thinks it crashed too many programs i use and gives me soo much grief to the point where i want to throw it out my window! lol

Windows Vista Home Premium.
I have found that as long as your computer can handle Vista it is pretty cool. Make sure you get a strong computer for vista though, the min specs they released were way too low.

I have MacOS X for a several months now. Before that it was XP SP3 for a long, long time-- never been too keen to go for Vista. Although my wife has it on her laptop and... she want a Mac as well

I'm still using my old Windows xp license sp1. lol. I've tried linux before and I had problem with some software. But I'm looking forward to try windows 7.

I use Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit on my laptop and the same but 32 bit on the desktop. In my virtual machine I have Ubuntu and CentOS and Windows XP Professional SP2 and Windows Server 2003.

I use windows 7 (evaluation copy..build 7100). It's very stable and win xp is not faster than this one is...I use it for 2 months now (I was a stable XP user). Vista is out of discussion for me...

Workstation: Vista Ultimate 64bit since it was first released. Apparently I'm an anomaly, but the OS has crashed only once in that time. I'm usually running VMWare (FreeBSD) with multiple xterms/nedit windows for development, as well as the usual browsers, office apps, Quicken...

Laptops: Mac OS-X 10.4.x, 10.5.x - Thank god apple moved to x86 arch..

Servers: FreeBSD 6.x (stopped using Linux ~10 years ago...)

All of the machines are online 24/7. (Yeah I know, I'll go plant a tree...)

I've found that buying solid hardware makes a world of difference in OS reliability & uptime
