When I have a lot going on (e.g. Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Firefox, IE, Media Player etc.) my Dell sometimes makes this fast sort of 'clicking noise'. It's hard to explain what it sounds like, but either way it sounds like it's not enjoying what it's being put through.
It doesn't tend to happen when I set the power options to 'power saver' in the control panel, but if I have it on balanced or high power then the noise tends to start.
Does anyone know what it might be or how serious it could be? Im thinking maybe it's the fans or HDD... but I don't have a clue about hardware so I wouldn't know!
