What do you recommend for around £2000

I have a custom built PC, it's older but still does the job.

AMD X2 2.2GHz
2GB RAM
2x 150GB WD Raptors
2x 7800GT GPUs in SLI

For that much money, you could build just about any PC you wanted.

i got c2d 2.o ghz 1.5gig ram asus 256 video card. running under xp...still it rocks..planing on upgrading though.

I got an AMD 64 3200+ @ 2.2Ghz with 1Gb RAM that still runs like mad (not for exigent games

).

Nowadays I would recommend an Intel Core2 Duo with at least 2Gb RAM
