I think Windows XP is the best OS for beginners. My desired OS is Microsoft Windows XP. It is great for the industry and simple to use and easy to learn also. I don't have any complain about Windows OS.

I've been using Windows 7 for a couple of months now. Just recently upgraded from Windows XP and I can say that Windows 7 is the best so far.

Each operating system is good for different purpose.xp has own feature and windows 7 has own feature.both are good.

I am still using Windows XP and have no plans to move onto anything else. I also dual boot it with Ubuntu, which is another favorite.

Windows Xp. Very much user friendly and light windows. Don't even know why people go for Windows 7 and Vista.

Between Vista and windows 7 i do prefer windows 7,
first, new laptops already installed windows 7
second, windows vista is flop, said by microsoft!

The best OS hands down is Windows 7.

My point of view - I like Windows 7 very much than considering others.. Very user Friendly to Handle it..

One that fulfills your needs while being cost effective and preferably simple.
So for home/ office I'm using Win7 as it's more compatible with current desktop applications than WinXP or Ubuntu. Last 2 would be my second choice.
In production environment CentOS as currently it's only free os compatible with 3 party applications in my business.
As for security an reliability - any os is as good as you configure and maintain it.

I tried Windows 8 on a touch screen device at a store and thought it was very innovative. Strong ergonomics and very easy to use.

If New OS introduced in a market added with new features everyone like to go for new one.
