I like Vista but using xp media center because of incompatibilities of some games and also its very lazy when you delete something

I agree with this, although sometimes, windows can be better. XP is good most of the time, it never gives me trouble. But vista is great too,
i don't know why many people don't seem to like it too much.

Ive had quite a lot of problems with Vista, which I cant really be bothered going into!

Im glad im now not the only who likes vista.

It seems before people used it they hated it (me included) but after using it and configing it to their preferd settings, like any one with half a brain does with EVERY os instead of moaning!, its brilliant!

Im on 1.5GB ram and yea every now and then i again i get a bit of lag CPU wise but i dont have a super CPU anyway and i want to upgrade it. I had the same (if not more) lag/crash issues on Windows XP Pro which is what i was running before.

but as a OS i love it! its b-e-a-utiful to use.

And i would have to put a little note out, that im using the Ultimate version (of course) and i would tend to agree the lower versions of Vista are a bit crap, but as will all they have made the best version (ultimate) and thought hey if we strip aload of stuff off it we can sell if for less and make money off people who cant get ultimate
So i would say u need ultimate to fully apprieciated it

my laptop are in vista os already but im not sure that im going to us vista on my desktop...they say that that xp will be obsolete by 2010...i think i would wait for that b4 changing to that..so far many people are still using xp...now isn't the time for me for vista...

I just read an article about that acctually, the date was 30th June 09 (or was 08 :s) and now its 2010 and from the sounds of it this comes down to Dell finding loop-holes in Microsofts Licensing agreement which enabled them to continue putting it on low range laptops, its also because well Microsoft got scared! because of the increased cost of having Vista on a Laptop, and the extra power need to apprieciate the OS as you may know Linux is becoming fashionable for average joes, and of course its free so takes a easy £70 ($140) off the price! So they gave in again and upped the time

Part of me thinks that its a bad move and they should have left it so people have to get it on their next upgrade, There are SO many people i know (including me) which hated vista before they got it and after getting used to it are perfectly fine with it...

I think im gonna take this and make a blog post out of it...

hmmm...are you sure your not going to use this Os..do you rather use mac or linux...

Hmm. Of Course XP will run faster because on VISTA it's more graphics added that require faster video card and more memory just to run all the eye candy. Personally, I dont like vista.. the Widgets is just a Mac os x rip off. and XP PRO does What I need it to.

I'v used Vista and havent had any problems, But xp just runs faster. it's a fact.
