I just completed releasing a CD so I was looking for something that would copy everything off the CD exactly. I wanted to keep CD Text and other important info that is sometimes lost w/ other rippers/burners. I played with a few apps and fell in love w/ Audio Exact Copy. It not only makes an exact copy of the CD but it allows you to save sessions for easy management. I was able to add MP3 tracks to a session and then burn it back to a blank CD easily, with no quality loss while maintaining all the header info. Very cool.

I use Windows built-in CD/DVD recording ability. I find that it is reliable enough for my needs.

I have been using NERO for almost 8 years now and its the best I have ever seen in CD/DVD recording softwares around. Now-a-days I use portable NERO which makes very easy to burn CD anywhere where there is no NERO in computer.

I like nero but have also burned using other programs.

Nero just seems to be the most stable and is updated often enough that I don't have to worry about it being out of date.

when you bought your burner, i think there can be a free copy of nero. Although some features are blocked, it still can burn data flawlessly. for plain data, i just use the older version of nero, i don't usually go for fancy visuals, i just want to get the job done asap.
