Sound Problem

Dear friends,

i have just reinstalled my XP operating system. After that i cannot hear any sound in my speakers. Please help me to hear sound. i have tried in control panel, but no sound option is there. All options are disabled

Please help me.

Windows did not find the sound card. Try a manual search in control panel for the hardware. You should see the card in the hardware area.

Yes i did that. But driver is still not detected

Try to find sound card driver & do reinstall if required. If this not works, you should go with company website & try download the relevant driver. If this also doesn't work you should fix it in mother board

Well, I do understand what really the problem is. The problem is that you have not installed sound card driver. You can install sound card drive from your motherboard cd or you can download the driver from internet by searching on google for AC97 Audio Driver . After downloading the setup file run setup and re-start your pc.
After that You can Play Songs and hear Voice From Your Speakers. N I am coming to dance.......just joking lol.....

check your sound card with hardware engineer...

this same problem have in my pc.. i was checked my sound card have problem in my card.. i now changed new card...
