is there any possible reason to use my desktop computer when im at the ofc without bringing my cpu? i heard other says use remote desktop. If it is possible please help me how can i do this. what is the program to use?

Well, windows xp pro has built in RAS (remote administration software) that you can use.

Providing you're using Microsoft Windows, you can use the RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol), providing you've enabled it on the machine local config. The problem with this is you need to configure your router (if you have one), to forward an external port to the local machine, which can be troublesome if you have several machines on a local network.

Or, you could always use a proprietory program as mentioned above such as log me in, or go to my PC.

thanks jamie. so if i have my two machine on my local network, i need to configure my router or need not to stop the other pc i order to use the other pc remotedly?
