I'm curious whether anyone else is experiencing this? I can't seem to leave Bridge open for more than an hour ... and sometimes much less ... before Windows complains that it throws a data execution prevention error and has to be closed.
I didn't get CS 3 until I bought a laptop with Vista Home Premium. I've used most of the earlier versions on earlier operating systems, up to CS 2 on XP. I don't know whether it's the software or o/s. More to the point, I don't know how to make it go away.
I use a 5D and only ever in raw mode, which means the files weigh 15 mb each on average at slow film speeds. A folder might have anywhere from a dozen to a few hundred images. It would make sense for that to make things slow - which ironically isn't a problem - but not to cause an area of memory reserved for data to try to run as code.
Any advice? All of the auto updaters are running and doing their jobs.
