Better site-checker?

Greetings, all -

I have a question about website checkers, and since it doesn't really fit into any of the categories, I'll ask it here.

I'm basically just wondering what site checkers/updaters/synchronizers others are using. While I don't like Adobe GoLive as a web editor, it's an okay site-updater, but it's still got some nasty quirks. It's biggest problem is that it gives up immediately if the network clogs up for a sec, whereas at least PageMaul would keep pinging for a while. And, when it gives up, it's with an error and nothing you've uploaded in that session is recorded, so it's all got to be uploaded again.

That just happened to me at the 99% mark of a 1-hour upload, so I figure it's time to bail out and try something new.

Any feedback t'would be appreciated.

Jeff

Get a standalone FTP program such as FileZilla or SmartFTP

The Aptana IDE http://www.aptana.com is free and has a built-in FTP client that has a synchronization feature.

I still prefer FileZilla for FTP.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys, but that's not quite what I'm looking for. FileZilla and SmartFTP are just FTP clients, and the 'synchronization' feature in Aptana is much too limited. GoLive lists out all the files that need to be updated so you can pick & choose, and also has a feature that'll pick out the 'orphan' files for deletion.

Thanks anyway,
Jeff
