i was wandering whats the best code to look into for a noob to web design. I know a little in html, but i was wandering is there a certain new language that might be really popular in the future maybe the newest language for web design? thanks....and also please include if you could a website to help you learn it

html or xhtml is the starting place. I don't think you'll be seeing any other code to replace them any time soon.

After (x)html I would suggest learning css and maybe some JavaScript. Next would be to choose a server side language in combination with a databse. php/mysql or asp.net/mssql are popular combinations.

But don't spend any time looking for a replacement to the basic (x)html.

A good place to begin learning is W3Schools. The tutorials are quick and easy to get through and will teach you a lot about a variety of web languages.

You'll want to know more than what's there, but it's a good starting place. And always feel free to ask questions here.
