Okay, Heres a good question hehe.

How do you go about accepting credit cards on a website?

and I dont mean using other sites, like paypal or somthing.

Any thoughts?

The primary method most people use is by having a form that submits to a mechant gateway. Be sure that the form accepting the information is on an SSL connection. If you would like more info/consulting on how this is done feel free to PM me and I would gladly help you get all this setup.
