Hey there,

I just starting learning about creating web-sites and enjoy it so far. However, I have a little problem with my site. I use several frames and all but one are optimized so that they don't require scrolling. My main page does require scrolling. Now I would like for the scrollbar to be on the side of the entire frameset, thereby freezing all frames and scrolling the entire page, rather than just that one frame. Does this make any sense? If so, how can I do this? What alternatives do I have?

Thanks a lot!!!

PS if you want to have a look at my site, it is Link

Well frames dont really work like that... If one frames needs scrolling that thats the only frame to scroll...
Now what you would want is a Iframe, BUT iframe are not compatible with all browsers. I would suggest just putting your site onto one page.

I just looked at your site...

If you want to have it so that you can easily edit the nav,, or some of the features on the right side... YOu can use SSI or javascript to pull it in dynamicly...

Just a thought

Hm, it is a thought, yeah, but I am too dumb to actually do that. I might learn within the next couple of weeks. Check it out now. I just up-graded everything yesterday so it doesn't use frames and is in table form. I still struggle with some of the pages to be completely viewable for 800x600, but in general I am satisfied so far.
