Does anyone know how can I protect a list of video files in flv from being hotlinked? I have tried many codes that they posted on the web for .htaccess, but none actually works. They just block all access, including the video file from playing on my site. Can someone help?

You can do this using some code in php. I have incorporated this in
one of the forums ( invision forums) where the desired file extension cant be
hotlinked, the person gotta belong to a particular group on the forum
and then only he will be able to see the data, be it movie files.

Furthur the option for a file extension not to be hot linked is also there.
