Are you running on Apache? If so, I have a tutorial you might be interested in, not a script, but something better if you've got the right server for it.

You should be able to modify the code for .htaccess to work with .zip files or any files you like, I just used images as an example as they are the most likely to be leeched (either knowingly or otherwise). Unfortunately I do not have the facilities available to be able to test the code out to tell you more than I have done in the article - I host on IIS and don't have Apache installed on my home computer.
