I was thinking about starting to collect peoples adresses for a newsletter.

To do this I thought about making a pop-under window asking them to subscribe by entering their name and e-mail adress.

How do I do this?

I know how to make a pop-under window, but I'm not sure about the form part (name, adress, submit-button)

How you collect e-mail addresses really depends on how you want to send the newsletter. If you are happy to do it manually (not recommended) a simple mailto form (either installed on your server or one of the many remotely hosted ones (http://www.bravenet.com)) will do fine.

If you want to use a script to send the e-mail as well, you can either install a script on your site (such as MyMail http://www.codingclick.com/scripts/MyMail/) or use a remotely hosted solution (such as http://www.freelists.org) who will handle everything for you.
