How did you obtain it? Purchasing it? or downloading it. I downloaded it via Bearshare but there are files missing (DA0350.dll) Anyone know how to posess this file?

What a bugger eh! File stealing some software only to find it's not complete.

BTW Mine came with a MSDN subscription.

Install mdac
http://msdn.microsoft.com/data/mdac/default.aspx

and the latest service pack for visual studio
http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/do...6/default.aspx

That should suffice.
Buy an original copy of VS 6 or VB6, you can find them at really low prices because they're quite old.

My friend happen to have V.S. .NET 2003 and gave it to me. It's said he didnt like it for quite a few reasons. I just installed it this morning and started playing around with it. Seems a lot different than what they are teaching me in school. VB 6 looks so old compared to VS .NET 2003!!

Visual Studio 2005 has just been released and provides some great updates and fixes to .NET 2003. I'd highly reccomend checking it out. I got my copy through MSDN Subscriber Downloads.
