Hi! I have heard of W3C compliant, but a new client just asked if I had any experience with 'Bobby 508' Compliant design. I guess Section 508:
"... ensures that Federal employees and members of the public with disabilities have access to and use of information and data, comparable to that of the employees and members of the public without disabilities–unless it is an undue burden to do so."
So, has anyone had experience with 'Bobby 508 Compliancy'? Is it siimilar to the W3C, where you enter you site URL at the W3C website and it does a check making you aware of problems, or is there more involved while creating the site? Like maybe they need more buttons, or maybe forms should be simpler, or don't use text graphics . . .
Thanks for any insight!
Kristi
