hi,
i got lots of great photographs and images which i would like to put in the net.

so for that i am on the lookout for good perl or php script which does the job for me..

i can do it manually but that takes time. but with these script i can just upload the images and then make them do thumbnails and can show it..

any idea ?

Just a word of warning about Perl, it does not scale very well - so if you're hoping that your picture gallery will be popular, I'd go for a PHP solution as it will be more server friendly right from the outset.

i do not have a credit card and i am not from us.

also i do not want to use any pay script as this may/will be only a temporary one.

maybe when i credit card i shall consider buying this..

Hi Sitetutor, had a look at it. i am of the assumption that scriptn has just started.

cos when i click on php,asp,cgi scripts i get no scripts found..

but i shall take a look at it often to see what is happening.

check out my gallery. Squito Gallery if you want to use it let me know and I can customize it for your needs. Free of charge. It can be used with or without a MySQL database. All you have to do is specify a photo directory and it does the rest.

The offer stands to anyone else who needs a good photo gallery.

Just to add a little to the features. It tracks how many times a photo is viewed. also what is in progress is a voting system similar to the hotornot.com site. I also take suggestions. just let be know on what other featured you like. I can very easily add the option for a user uploaded section.
