I am slowly working on/developing a site called m4x0r . No, this isnt spam...

I am trying to kind of put together a rough content managing system. I need to be able to:

add articles into different catagories
news
forum
and obviously an admin control to do this stuff.

Right now, I am using several different scripts and phpBB as my forum. The point of the site for mac users interested in coding, scripting, and pretty much the elite mac user world. We call it m4x0r, becuase that is 1337 (elite) speak for macer, or someone who uses macintosh computers.

So really, I have tried lots of different content managers, and things like portals for different forums. Nothign really suit my needs, too much or too little!

I need someone to help me for the long-run with developing a kind of rough content managing system and get this site alive.

Any suggestion/offers/ anything at all?m4x0r

Unfortunately, I'm not so sure that you're going to get many offers unless you are willing to offer money in exchange. Most people are hesitant in dealing with websites without a domain name, and unfortunately, you do not have one at the moment.

I would recommend downloading an already well-established content manager. You can find tons at www.hotscripts.com

Ive been al over ith cms... Ive tried phpnuke, post nuke, mambo, etc.... They have to many bounderies! As for the "it is going to be a succes" I know ... most likely not.. but notin like a lil pep talk..
