above is a set of simple php lines i found to use as anti-leech

the question i have is, does anybody know how to modify this script to use the SITE ROOT instead of HTTP_REFERERThat only allows one page (http://www.yoursite.com/index.html line 8) to allow access to the files?

To be honest with you using .php to stop leaching programs is probably the most complicated way of doing it.

The easiest way that i have found is to add the following into you .htaccess file:

That should stop 90% of the leeching programs on the net at the present time.
