Ok, I think I know what you're saying... Are you by chance using a cloaked re-direct?

I'm not aware of a way to stop people viewing frames... But, I wouldn't worry too much about bookmarks - I'd be more concerned about search engine results dropping people into the site without the frames. That you can fix with a robots.txt file...
