We are wanting to make a processing window for a realestate site we're working on.

If you go to www.cheaptickets.com you can see it in action. Just do a hotel search for any city and you'll see the processing window.

Now I've seen this done before using layers, but this one works in both Netscape and IE which I've never seen successfully done before.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Brent

There's a massive chunk of JavaScript on that page and I don't understand a word of it!

Looks to me like the javascript loads a script (possibly via an image) which will return a value when the search is complete. Once that happens it redirects you to a page which requests the results from a database (where they have been cached). If you want to look at another example try Ticketmaster.
