I have seen a few sites where they have vertical lines "|" instead of the dots in password forms, line seen on https://afcubeta.americafirst.com/jsp/login.jsp in the "PIN" field.

Can't for the life of me figure it out, anyone have an Idea? Is it JS or a CSS attribute I don't know about?

I took a look at that page and it just had the normal *s... What browser are you using?

I also see "|" instead of "*" in the pin field on the site mentioned.
Using IE 6.

Hmmm.... very strange.... Running IE6 on Win2K and only get the *s for the pin. Maybe its an XP thing....

Looked all though the css files and couldn't see anything that suggested it changed the field. Anyone else?

I'm using XP and IE 6. I have skimmed the CSS looking for something obvious but I will look a little harder, if you find something let me know.

I could swear there is an html attribute that allows you to change the password character. Odd!
